TRACS (Teaching, Research, And Collaboration System) is the collaborative learning environment at Texas State University.

There are two types of sites in TRACS; course and project sites. A course site is used for coursework, documents and materials for a course. A project site may be used for collaboration on research, for committee work, for collaborative development projects and more.

With TRACS we have the power to customize features, to create new tools and to improve existing tools.

For more information, support materials and workshop schedules, go to the TRACS Facts web site at: http://tracsfacts.its.txstate.edu

TRACS is the Texas State instance of Sakai, a community-source technology developed by a consortium of universities including Texas State, MIT, Stanford, the University of Michigan and Indiana University, among others. For more information on Sakai, visit: http://www.sakaiproject.org
